Description

The Fiemme Mountains, with it's highest peak Cima D'Asta, to the east of the city of Trento, north of Borgo Valsugana, suffers from being close to much more famous mountains in the surrounding. Few people know that it allows to climb on granite/porphyry right in the middle of the Dolomites during the summer. During winter a number of cascades provide the possibility for ice climbing.

Getting There

Depending to which part you want to drive to, you might take either the street leading from east to west through the Val die Fiemme (SS48, SS50), or, in most of the cases, the road following the Valsugana (in Trentino SP228, in Veneto SP60/SP74) to the south.
