Description

Some of the rock is pretty decomposed so be weary what you decide to jump on. There are quite a few gems here and I am currently in the process of discovering and sending (hopefully) new problems every week. I haven't seen any other climbers here or evidence of established routes, but if you have anything to add I would love to hear of your discoveries!

The climbing here is quite varied, from slab on tiny rails and foot chips to sloping holds on sketch highball finishes. Most of the climbs I have found are pretty powerful, but I am trying to put up as much variety as I can find.

Getting There

Going northbound on the 2-15 freeway, take Newport Rd. exit and turn left and go over bridge. Keep driving till you see Murphy Ranch Rd. Drive up this road for about a quarter mile or less and then park on the right side curb (DON'T PARK NEXT TO FIRE HYDRANTS). When you park, there should be an open field of construction on your right.

I haven't seen any "No trespassing signs" nor any fences I am by passing. Looks like completely public land with hiking trails everywhere. Hey I think I know you. Did you used to work at RCC? Nov 11, 2016
