Description
This gem of a block is very well hidden from the trail and features a good variety of styles and grades. It is approximately 12-18 feet tall, depending on which side you start from. Still it has potential for a few more routes including one or two that would be quite difficult but on the sections of higher quality stone. Current problems only comprise about 1/3 of the surface of the boulder. If you were so inclined, the tree growing out of the top of the boulder is strong enough to provide an anchor to toprope any side of the block or to rap clean any new lines. Pad the edges if you do so.
Getting There
Head up the Booth Creek trail for approximately 3/4 of a mile until you see a small fork off to the left leading to a small block that makes a really good seat. Follow the herd path down and left into the ravine, wrapping around a large stand of evergreens. As you reach the bottom of the ravine, the boulder will be partially visible to your right about 75 yards away.
