Description Suggest change

The Jupiter Boulders lay about a half mile off the road at the base of a finger of Mustard Point, a large buttress to the north of Hwy 12, 1.4 miles after you cross Wahweap Creek. The first thing you will notice is the very proud Jupiter Boulder perched upon the hill and cracked right down the middle. This area houses the Ripple Boulder, one of the more unique boulders I have ever had the pleasure of climbing.

Getting There Suggest change

To access the Jupiter Boulder, Thor and Ripple areas go 1.4 miles past the creek crossing, park on the side of the road and take the path of least resistance. To access the Jovial Moons areas take a nice (2 wheel drives are okay but be careful to stay on the well traveled ruts) dirt road that cuts north 1/4 of a mile before the line of orange "No Off Road Travel" signs. the road ends at the Lo Boulder area. Hike east for 1/4 mile to Europa, hike NW for a 1/4 mile to Callisto.
