Description
An intimidating and stunning feature touting my favorite roof climb in all of Santa Barbara.
The Suspended Boulder is just that: a boulders suspended in a narrow, rocky canyon. The underside of the boulder creates a dark, dank cave, out of which you must climb. Take courage!

Getting There
Hike up the west fork of Cold Springs. When you past the Bench Boulders, you will encounter a craggy ridge to your left with lots of little caves and huecos. Don't go up this drainage. Keep hiking another hundred feet or so to the NEXT drainage. Go left here. A few minutes of trudging through light underbrush will bring you to the boulder.
