DescriptionMore beautiful stone similar to Lower Cold Springs Canyon. You will find a bit more seclusion up here from the hikers, even at The Bay Tree Boulders, which sit pretty much in the middle of the trail. New lines continue to be climbed in this wild area, especially up near Tangerine Falls, where the drought has opened a number of water-polished boulders. The approach is far enough to trim the crowds, but so far as to make the legs burn. Fear not, weary boulderer: perfect slopers and crimps await.
Getting ThereSame as for Lower Cold Springs Canyon: santabarbarahikes.com/hikes…
When you get to the Bench Boulders about eight minutes up the trail, cross the creek and head up the West Fork. You will pass the turnoff for the Suspended Boulder, after which you walk another 10-15 minutes to The Bay Tree Boulders.
