Description
The 1st Pullout is marked by the Begay Boulder perched proudly on the edge of the road. Pull up and do some problems off the hood of your chitty if you feel the need. From this parking spot you can access the Cukoo's Nest and the Whitestreak areas.
Getting There
Drive down the NP230 for 2.6 miles until you find two large boulders on the left side of the road. The larger boulder has the writing carved on it "Begay" and therefore the name of the boulder is Begay. It was going to be the Yazzie Boulder but because someone scratched the name Begay into the varnish, we decided change our minds and to go with Begay rather than Yazzie.
