Description

Also known as point 11,280. Rearing stallion has a huge and beautiful NE face that is not visible from the valley floor. There are at least 4 routes on this aspect.

Getting There

Drive/ or bike to the trailhead at the end of wild horse road. High clearance recommended. There are only 4-5 parking spaces here. Hike back on the road to the mine. Cross the creek, pass the mine buildings, and hike the overgrown mine road to it's end. From here you bushwhack up into the basin past a waterfall. The distance is short but give some time for this as the travel is a bit rough.
