Pirlitor, Durmitor National Park Rock Climbing

Take the road from Zabljlak towards Durvdevica/Tara bridge. 7.9km from Zabljak. Turn left on unpaved (and quite rough driving) road, follow signs for Pirlitor Climbing, about 3km (well signposted, but the signs are faded). 

Update: Part of the road has now been paved, but this does not include the roughest section when the road ends at the cemetery. Here, do NOT continue into the field where there are off-road tracks through the grass. Instead you take a sharp hairpin left turn so the cemetery passes you on the right, and you'll drive by a very cool old church on your left after a small rough hill that requires some clearance. After a dense easier section through the forest, you'll come to a clearing with a historic sign and a gazebo visible atop the hill. There are a few small parking spots here.

While it is possible to reach the final parking area with a 2WD vehicle, it is not recommended to make the descent down the final hill as getting back up can be a challenge and will make the road rougher. From this upper parking it is a 3 minute walk to the lower field where you can camp and park as well. You'll see the small, rounded east-facing wall in front of you. Hike straight past the sign, and you can even go left at the wall to get to the top for a good view or to set topropes for beginners.

For the west wall look left and behind you from the sign and you'll see the tall wall. To reach it, walk downhill on the grassy path between the two walls. After a few minutes you'll find an obvious smaller trail that cuts left uphill towards the wall, crossing a section of smaller rocks. Approach time 5 min from lower lot, 8-10 minutes from upper lot.
