Description
A set of scattered boulders in an undeveloped lot near Yun Long Hotel. The rock is solid, and the routes are varied, but you may get some unwanted attention from curious folk while climbing. Nothing serious, just anything from cheering to asking for some money. I wouldn't hang out here at night.
Getting There
Bismarck Rock is an iconic rock just off shore from downtown Mwanza. Get yourself there and then drive south until you see the Yun Long Hotel on your right (lake side). The hotel is commonly known as "Chinese" by the taxi drivers we used while there. This is a great place to stay the nights while bouldering Yun Long boulders, the punk kids areas, or tembo rock garden.
To get to Yun Long boulders, head south from the hotel until you reach the first intersection, which can be seen from the hotel entrance. The boulders are on the right (lake side) of this intersection.
