DescriptionMostly shaded area right beside the Astoria River.
If not climbing the place is awesome to just visit.
Some easy routes up the side and some cave style problems on the overhang.
Getting ThereHead south out of Jasper on the Highway 93 (Icefields Parkway) and go 6-7 Kilometers until you see the Highway 93A. Turn right and once you pass the Marmot Basin exit you are about halfway there, go another couple Kilometers until you cross the Astoria River. There will be a parking lot just over the bridge on the left side of the road.
Park there and cross the road into a trail with a 4 foot boulder at the entrance, walk in a hundred yards or so and make a sharp right once you cross a pipeline and its another 50 meters or so in. Its one boulder sitting on top of another right beside the river.
