HUMAN WASTE Human waste is one of the major issues plaguing Red Rocks. The Las Vegas Climbers Liaison Council and the AAC provides free "wag bags" in several locations (Black Velvet, First Pullout, Kraft Mtn/Bouldering, The Gallery, and The Black Corridor). These bags are designed so that you can pack your waste out - consider bringing one to be part of your kit (just like your rope and shoes and lunch) no matter where you go. Once used, please dispose of them properly (do not throw them in the toilets at the parking area).
Description
Just when you thought you had tapped all that Red Rocks had to offer. Another beautiful wall in plain sight gets added to the trove. With more damn climbs to tick off. North facing wall up and right from The Necromancer and left of the Frigid Air Buttress descent. Mostly shaded except close to the summer solstice.
Getting There
Take the main trail into Icebox. When directly across from the Necromancer wall drop into the gully and head up the main trail to the Necromancer wall. Follow the wall to the right side and then stay on a trail (fair to good) that skirts the base of the cliff above until you arrive at the Cauldron Wall. About 15 minutes past the Necromancer. There is another trail but might be hard to find as of now.
