DescriptionPlease forgive if this area has a different name. I wanted to put this AREA "in" to make it easier for people to correctly place routes.
These are the slabs up and right of the Arete Area. They appear to be similar to the "Milky Way" slab of Across the Universe on Mt. Willard...but that's just my impression.
My understanding is that at least 4 routes have been put in here, Left-to-Right: a 5.10; 5.9; 5.9; 5.10
Getting ThereClimbs start from a tree ledge about 1/2 way up the cliff.
I would assume that one gets to the base by either out-flanking the cliff around to the right and up, then left on the tree ledge; or by climbing one of the climbs on the Arete Area and then scrambling/climbing up through the lower trees.
