Access Issue: Private property, small day fee for access.
Details
Climbing area is now part of an "adventure park" with a zip line through the gardens, cable car across the 250m high gorge and trails down to the climbing area.
Access Issue: Private property
Details
The area is private property. Go to the Parque Aventura San Martin office and buy an entrance ticket.
Description
A shaded crag tucked between large river rocks, a sandy river bank, and a polished cliff. Crowded on weekends with guided climbing tours from Parque Aventura.
Getting There
Drive to Parque Aventura, which involves crossing two small bridges. There is a public parking lot near the first bridge. Pay to enter Parque Aventura and walk to the other end of the park towards the other side of the canyon where zip lining happens. After about one minute of walking, the road passes through a gate that says private property. Walk along that road for three to five minutes. On the right at an intersection of a dirt trail is a sign that says "muro de escalar". Follow the trail down for another five minutes until you come to a field of broken tree trunks and river swept wood. Routes are at the base of the cliff there.
