Description

Poot Ridge is a secluded tablet of rock behind (west) of Overhang Rock. The one thing guaranteed at Poot Ridge is solitude. Also, I would guess some potential for some new routes as I did noticed a beautiful unclimbed overhanging finger crack (12?) in the area.

Getting There

The best access is via Bear Canyon Trail. Hike west up Bear Canyon, passing the Overhang Rock trail (not obvious), until you're adjacent with Stonehenge. Then leave the trail and bushwhack your way south up the hill to Poot Ridge. Make sure you're on the west side of the ridge.
