DescriptionThere is lots of untapped climbing potential ranging from great boulders to 100 foot trad climbs. There is lots of moss, and it's wild. I don't think anybody has climbed back here before. The rock is great granite, and there are tons of awesome camping spots. Dispersed camping is OK.
Getting ThereDrive up CO 7 for 15 miles from Lyons. Turn right on Conifer Hill Road (dirt), and go up the hill, you will turn right again. Follow for about a mile and you will start to go downhill, go left at the Y, and you will see the obvious parking and trail head for Dry St. Vrain Creek. The forest service has good directions just google, Dry St. Vrain Creek Trail. Once at the trailhead, follow the trail, and go left across the creek very shortly after the start. A descent-size crag should be visible to the east, we call it the Mossque.
