Description Suggest change

The Local Group makes for an easy, short approach destination that accesses several very good boulders. The area includes the boulders between Pool of Plenty to the north and Mecca (Main area) to the south, and East Creek to the west and the canyon rim to the east. The rock quality is much like other Nine Mile areas, variable. But overall, the rock is abundant and solid.

Getting There Suggest change

The is best accessed from the Blue Moon parking. From there, either head west down the hill or cross Highway 141 to the east to access the boulders. It will take no more than 5 minutes to reach the furthest boulder.
