Description

Lubbock Lights is a small boulder with a nice nose that faces northeast. The rock quality is very good and the landings are as well.

Getting There

This one is out there, well guarded by trees, in a depression, it's easy to miss. From the Mecca parking, cross through the green gate, head downhill, cross East Creek, follow the path uphill, make a right at the dirt track, follow the dirt track for about 10 minutes, then make a left up the hill to the canyon rim, and the boulder will be located atop the bench before the slope that reaches the rim. Reference the page map for its exact location.
