Description

The majority of the developed Traditional and Sport climbing for the Halifax region can be found in Musquodoboit Harbour. The cliffs are all granite, and rock quality is very good. The granite is slightly different at each of the crags, however it tends to feel sharp due to the relatively large grains or crystals.

Getting There

Drive out the 107 highway leaving Dartmouth toward Porters Lake. Drive to the end of the highway and make a right turn onto Marine Dr. (the number 7). In only a few kilometers you will see trains on your left. Take the next left turn just before the Police Station onto the 357. Refer to individual cliff directions to get to a specific climb or cliff.
