Hunter Canyon

> Kane Springs Canyon
Access Issue: RAIN, WET ROCK and RAPTOR CLOSURES: The sandstone around Moab is fragile and is very easily damaged when it is wet. Also please ask and be aware of Raptor Closures in areas such as CAT WALL and RESERVOIR WALL in Indian Creek
Details
WET ROCK: Holds rip off and climbs have been and will continue to be permanently damaged due to climbers not respecting this phenomenon. After a heavy storm the rock will remain wet, sometimes for several days. PLEASE DO NOT CLIMB IN MOAB during or after rain.
RAPTOR CLOSURES: please be aware of seasonal raptor closures. They occur annually in the spring.
Description
It appears there are some routes here at the mouth of the canyon, but i don't have any info other than you can see the anchors from the parking area. If you hike 1 mile into the canyon you will find three towers that have a little to offer for everyone! The trail is flat and well established, and it should probably only take you 20 minutes to get to the towers.
Getting There
Hunter Canyon is easy to find. If you are driving down Kane Springs Road, it is about 1 mile from the bottom of the switchbacks. It has parking on both sides of the road and is right before you cross the creek/creek bed.
[Hide Photo] As you round the corner about one mile into the canyon you see Squid Pig on the left, The Frightened Pickle in the middle and The Huntsman on the right.
