This is the main area behind Frontón Beach, consisting of a tall face of blocky, mostly overhanging black carbonate rocks with lenses of white marble and rust orange oxidation staining. There are a handful of established routes here ranging in difficulty from about 5.4 to 5.13a, with potential for much more development. As of 2016, a new standard of hardware using only titanium glue-in bolts and anchors has been established for all new route development into the future. Several of the existing routes at this crag have been rebolted with titanium. Look for the (Ti) designation in the route name.
The rock quality varies from excellent to weathered and chossy. Helmets are advisable for belayers and climbers.
Although seldom encountered, watch out for wasps and poisonous centipedes.
