Whipper Wall

Description

West facing shady most of the day until late after noon. This wall is all overhanging and the approach is easy.

Getting There

From the East side parking lot close to Hippy Dome. Take the main trail towards Hippy Dome. After crossing the huge wash/ditch take the trail that runs on top of the ditch to the west. This trail stays right on top of the ditch. It is a 10 minute walk to the wall that will be on your right hand side as you see it. Scramble your way up, there is a trail but its not marked yet.

[Hide Comment] 15 minutes from Parking lot. Gets sun all day and gets real hot. Ideal temperature for this wall is low 40's. Above 50 degrees you get roasted real bad. Bring a hiking pole or stick clip and sunscreen. Because of the heat, climbing window is short, December - February Jan 28, 2024
