Description Suggest change

A series of black basalt boulders spread out along a few miles of beach to the south of Robertsport. While not a destination area the rock has good friction and yields some interesting problems. It is definitely worth playing around on if you are there for the world class surfing. Unfortunately most of the problems are in large fields of boulders meaning that most problems have bad landings. Many problems need a crashpad and good spotter. There are few above the sand. Most of the blocks are small, so if you are into lowballs there is tons to do but there are a few really nice big blocks with high lines.

Getting There Suggest change

Drive to Robertsport. From town head down to the surf spots near Nana's Lodge. Facing the ocean walk left towards the visible basalt boulders. The first cluster you come to is not worth stopping at. There are boulders scattered along the beach for the next few miles and they culminate in a very large field of rubble with a number of big blocks sitting in it. The GPS coordinates are for this area.
