Description
The lake slabs are a fun venue for a couple hour rally up bolted multi pitch slab routes.
Good, solid rock, neat climbing right above the glacially colored lake, and a home run stop at the refugio for a beverage: perfect short day venue.
Three slab routes, from left to right:
Wasserinfone: five pitches at 5a.
Lucia e Marcello: five pitches at 4a/b (or 5b option).
Rehbrüggli: five pitches at 5a.
A short approach, solid rock, slabalicious fun.

Getting There
Grind out the long hike to the reservoir, or, be sane and take the tram (just pretend Swiss francs aren't real money...18 SFr as of 2012).
Walk across the dam, and, take the trail to the Capanna Albigna refugio. The slabs below the hut will come into view, and, right where the trail takes off to go above the near slabs, note a skinny climbing trail leading to the base of the routes.
Approach to routes takes 30 minutes at a casual pace.
From the hut, hike the trail down to the water pipe. Look for a large block. Climber's right from the block is the first rap anchor. Rappel route with 2 45m ropes (minimum). Or, hike down the trail and look for the climbers' trail described above.
