Access Issue: Climbing Regulations/Seasonal Raptor Closures Details

The Joshua Tree National Park Superintendent's Compendium states that:
1. Vegetation is not allowed to be used as an anchor.
2. Only neutral or rock colored bolt hangers are allowed.

Description

Shady most of the day, perfect sandy landing tucked away between trees. Pretty much no one climbs this thing.

Getting There

Walk around the back side of Echo rock about 150 yards. Past the poodle wall and the gumdrop boulder. Stay close to the oak trees at the base of the back side of Echo, they hide this small sandy cove.
