Description

A small dome with a few short, interesting climbs. Rock quality is excellent except for the hollow-sounding flakes on the far right. Routes are short but the approach is also short. This little piece of rock doesn't see much action but that may change since all the hardware has recently been replaced. It's a nice, out-of-the-way spot to hang out, especially if other areas are crowded. Similar aspect as the other crags at Indian Springs. It is possible to scramble around and set up a TR (anchors for both Integratron and Soco crack have both recently been replaced). Integratron a.k.a. "5.10 left" also has new bolts and is a fun lead.

Getting There

Begin at the pull-out for the main area. Instead of heading left on the climbers trail to the lower, middle, and upper tiers, take a right and scramble uphill, vaguely paralleling the road, heading in the direction of Beeline Slab. Look for the largest feature and head there. The dome is characterized by a taller, steeper left side with good rock, bisected by a hand-sized crack and a shorter section on the right with a bush on top. You can just see the top of the dome from the parking lot. It is possible to scramble around and set up a TR, all bolts and anchors were replaced in Spring 2020.
