Florida

Description

Not known as a stellar climbing destination. Florida might lack mountains and crags, but it more than makes up for them in the form of scattered limestone and constantly warm weather.

With limited natural rock formations, Florida offers some “non traditional” climbing opportunities on various structures. While many legal and unconventional areas exist, it should be noted that illegal buildering routes and tree climbs are not permitted in the MP database.

[Hide Comment] I’m originally from Florida. Found climbing living elsewhere. Live in the SW and love it. Just recently checked out Blowing Rocks for fun while visiting fam. It’s mostly covered in sand right now! There’s gotta be some humor in that Jul 27, 2024
