Kinzua Creek

Pennsylvania > Northwest

Description

Little used area right along Kinzua Creek. Amazing conglomerate with some crazy little features all over the boulders. Around 20 boulders, possibly more. An incredible amount of problems that could be set. Easily accessed from Route 219, and on National Forest Land. Perfect place for a little getaway, with Kinzua creek less than 100 yards away and some great fishing. Only warning could be about bears and a lot of rainy weather. Just use common sense for both.

Getting There

From Kane, take Route 6 East and turn North on Route 219 at Lantz Corners. Follow Route 219 until you cross Kinzua Creek. Turn right onto the dirt road immediately after crossing the creek. Follow Road as far as it allows (less than a quarter mile) and park at the end. Boulders are located on the hillside to the right.
