totally agree Matthias. An amazing place where you can absorb nature's beauty and do some rock climbing. :) I didn't want to leave. Sep 8, 2016

Of what I did here, so long ago: I could have mapped, named, rated, spewed, all about the boulders & route details.
But after the amazing meeting I had on the beach with a resident elk, I concurred with him that his neighborhood, this place, well, it needs to be free from the hordes who tend to visit beautiful places, and end up loving them too much.
Ossagon really deserves to keep its obscurity, and its original and uncertain character intact.
This means not naming/rating an FA of an overhanging long-ish face, an amazing arĂȘte just sequenced and sent, an inobvious blank face with thin edging, a reachy traverse, the high-ball girdle over the waves, and an amazing roof just a few feet above the sand...
Believe me, I know it's hard to not let our feelings interfere, as we all have our egos to stroke, right?
But these rocks deserve to be a place where folks can go and see a problem, decide for themselves if it's for them, and try it!
Not knowing, not even being able to locate a written record of it, enhances the experience, and it's that vagueness, that unknown, [akin to a beauty in a small/tight swimsuit, as opposed to that same beauty sans attire] that makes it all the better when finally we touch the rock...
While it's already been written up, was it R&I?, continuing to keep Ossagen as wild as possible, ought to be an on-going effort.
