Description

Lenninger Tal (Lenningen Valley) is one of the most popular areas for Stuttgart based climbers due to its proximity and number of climbs. The Lenninger Tal area contains the following crags that are open for climbing.

  • Max & Moritz
  • Steinbruchfelsen
  • Linke Tobelfelsen
  • Wielandstein
  • Kompostfels
  • Schwarze Wand
  • Sylphenwand
  • Kesselwand
  • Pfulbwand
  • Stellfels

As of now, the following crags are closed for climbing: Raetselfels, Mittagsfelsen, Tobelwand, Reche Tobelfelsen, Hohgreuthfels, Reiterfels, Mittagfels, Muellerfels, Donfels, Kristalfels. If you really want to go to one then check the local DAV for more on its current status.

Getting There

From Stuttgart, take the A8 southeast and at Kirchheim unter Teck, take 465 south to Owen/Lenningen. From there it will depend on the crag you want to hit.
