Description

Roaring Creek Boulder is an enormous, house-sized boulder perched on the hillside above the Roaring Creek parking area. The rock quality is excellent, and the boulder sees very little traffic. The season is generally year-round with especially good conditions in the fall and winter months.

Be aware the top of this boulder is a haven for the locals as a "hook-up" spot...the tree is covered in ladies' underwear :)

Getting There

From the Roaring Creek trailhead, walk up the trail for about 5 minutes until you are parallel with the boulder. Traverse right back across the hillside to reach the boulder.
