Description Suggest change

Very first area at Powerlinez. A collection of 4-6 boulders featuring roughly 20-30 climbs. This area is sometimes referred to as the Road Boulders, but formally named Welcome Boulders. The Welcome Boulders area includes; Torch Boulder, Flight From Doom, Hey Up There Boulder, Pete's Prow (Repete Boulder) Tarzan Swing and the area ends with Oliphant Boulder.

Time: 5 minutes - 15 minutes depending on your pace and your carry load.

All of these boulders in this area are well covered by trees, but after a rain shower, they are the first to dry.

The rock is the same as any you would find throughout Powerlinez.

Welcome Boulders are a great place to start your day at Powerlinez, featuring some great climbs ranging mostly from V0-V4, but the quantity of climbs conatined at the Welcome Boulders can sustain multiple, full day bouldering trips.

Getting There Suggest change

From the parking area, walk up the access road. As soon as you make the left at the fork in the road, the very first boulders will be immediately on the right. Should take roughly 10 minutes.
