DescriptionEast facing cliff to the north of the Main Spook Wall. The area has a variety of routes in the 5.6-5.10 range that are mostly sport climbs with a few trad or toprope only lines. Virtually all climbs can easily be set as topropes by scrambling to the top of the cliff via 3rd class scramble to the climbers right side of the cliff.
Gets morning sun and evening shade and is protected from most winds except easterly. Summer evenings are surprisingly comfortable due to the shade.
Most of the routes were listed in the "black book" by Maestas and Jones, but no FA info is given. Please provide if you know any details.
Getting ThereFrom the NW corner of the Spook parking area, follow a faint trail across the open area. Keep your eyes peeled for cairns and avoid getting sucked into an erosion trench to the right. Once into more rugged terrain, follow the cairned path to the base of the cliff band. You will generally stay right (uphill) main drainage as you get closer to the cliff.
