Description Suggest change

These are a small collection of blocks with some good quality problems on them scattered in pleasant, beech woods roughly halfway between Agassiz Rock and the Satan Boulder.

Getting There Suggest change

They are a little out there.

Head off the back side of Aggasiz, trending slightly right across a little plateau with some boulders on it and then down a slope. You are aiming for a gully with a distinct but little used mountain bike path in it. This path runs roughly parallel to School St. and toward Route 128. Follow this path down a bit across an ephemeral stream and then up gently to a sideways tree. From here, the path dog legs left and joins a more prominent mountain bike trail. Follow this up through the beech woods looking for boulders off to the right (fairly visible without foliage). I have met both hunters and deer back here, so day-glo is mandatory in hunting season.

To get the Satan Boulder from the Diamond Face Boulder, follow the absurdly prominent mountain biker trail (they blazed every tree blue and yellow) down to where it empties into what looks like an old road. From here, go across toward Route 128, and join up with another blue blazed path.
