Wright's Park

Massachusetts > Eastern, MA > Middlesex Fells

Description

This is a park within the larger Middlesex Fells. It is separate, because it is owned by the City of Medford. The border between the formal Middlesex Fells and Wright's Park is not clear when you are walking around in there, hence the listing location. There are a bunch of outcroppings on the north side of the park. This is where the boulders are located.

Getting There

Parking at Wright's Pond is for Medford residents only. So if you're not a resident, your best bet is to park at Flynn Rink and hike in via Cross Fells Path (Woodland Path). The locations shown on the MP map are accurate.

[Hide Comment] I've parked on Fellsway West many times to go into Wright's Park. Apparently, you are not supposed to. Apr 10, 2017

[Hide Comment] Hi, just wondering if anyone has tried the lowball on the right of woodland path just as it angles downhill at about 42.44585013778797, -71.09750859214455? A friend and I went out the other day and climbed its arete as well as one SDS direct route, but the potential for an even lower sit start moderate exists. Has anyone else tried this boulder?
