Description

Eagle Wall is the tallest wall in the back alcoves. Only Asylum Wall and the Main Wall near the Snake River are taller. Eagle Wall is home to many extremely nice 11's and 12's. The mostly west facing wall is great for early hot mornings or late spring/fall afternoons.

Getting There

Eagle Wall is a short 10 minute hike from the west rim parking.

[Hide Comment] We climbed here over Memorial Weekend - excellent rock and routes - but saw a large dead raptor chick that had appeared to have fallen out of its nest above. We also had a bird dive bomb us while climbing at Echo Point, so I immediately lowered and we left the area. Another party had a large family with children flying a drone. It was our belief that these tall cliffs are a special place for birds of prey - if you see them and they seem to be disturbed, leave them be and climb elsewhere - especially during Spring nesting season. Let's all do our part to protect these amazing birds. Jun 12, 2021
