Oakledge Boulder

New Hampshire > Dartmouth / Lake Sunapee

Description

A single boulder right along the road near Sunapee, NH. The boulder offers 3 established lines ranging from V6 to V8/9. It's a nice stop if you're in the region looking for a boulder to climb.

Access: I have no idea what the property ownership situation is here, so be respectful and keep a low profile.

Getting There

Heading north toward Sunapee on Route 103, take a right onto 103B at the odd intersection to head toward Sunapee Harbor. About a half mile on the right hand side of the road, you'll see a cluster of boulders. Park on the left side of the road, walk across the street and the Oakledge boulder will be visible. If you get to the Oakledge turnoff on the right, you've gone too far. The blocks should be easily visible without foliage.

[Hide Comment] There are a few other boulders near this one. They could be worth developing if someone is interested.

This is certainly NOT a destination, but it's a fun boulder if live in the region and want to try a few new problems.
