Description
On the pink flagged trail up to Gem Hunter there is an array of moderately sized boulders and a few select quality problems that have been completed. There is room for more bouldering development on the way up to Gem Hunter, however I am uploading what I have as my time for scrubbing has become very limited.
The land is owned by the town forest, and access is not an issue.
Trail Beta Note: I flagged this trail in May or June 2015, the flagging should be very obvious for the next few years, unless it gets eaten by deer (I've heard that deer sometimes snack on survey tape). The tails on the flags are pretty long, and I tried my best to carve a visible line through the woods. That said it is undeveloped old growth forest and will likely be taken back by mother nature with a few years of non-use.
The trail becomes a little more cryptic after the Clean Slate Roof and the Scarred Rock boulder. It continues up the hill and then makes a sharpish left through some deadfall and then some really young growth, and then starts to head right again to Gem Hunter. I did this because if you follow the trail to where it turns right towards gem hunter, you can almost see some more ledges that may possess some quality bouldering lines.
