Description Suggest change

Monument is a large boulder with potential on its vertical south face and overhanging west face. Despite its size, there is an easy downclimb on the southwest side of the boulder. The rock quality is mixed, solid in areas and choss in others. The landings are good where the problems climb.

Getting There Suggest change

It is located in the Blue Moon area. Park at the green gate at the Mecca area. Pass through the gate, head downhill, cross East Creek, head uphill, make a right, and follow the dirt track for about 5 minutes. Then make a right at a shallow wash, follow it almost straight north, and the boulder will be on your right in a few minutes. Reference the page map for the precise location.
