Gonic Trails

New Hampshire > Southeast / Seacoast

Description

A pleasant, low-key, bouldering area located by a small waterfall on the Isinglass River in Gonic NH. Problems currently range from V0 to V5, with low and highball problems. There is potential for harder lines if some aggressive cleaning was implemented. This is certainly not a new bouldering mecca, but it does have a couple select lines that are not to be missed.

Getting There

Parking for the trails is located on Rochester Neck Road, Rochester, NH in a dirt lot on waste management land. For more information just do a quick search of "The Gonic Trails", it is very easy to find.

After parking follow the yellow trail for half a mile to the water, once you reach the river the bouldering area will become very clear. The higher quality lines are located on the lower wall by the river, up the hill by the trail there are several other lines that are seemingly crumbly or high quality but also highball.
