Description

A nice warm area in winter; if in the shade it's fine other seasons. It faces south and is shaded by the huge wall facing it across the Creek.

Getting There

From paved parking turn left onto powerline road and walk uphill on the trail to the saddle (Southeast). From the saddle walk towards the edge of the canyon and look for open area above the Gorge. A large gash opens up and drops down on a faint trail. As you descend you will pass bolts on the walk down; rescue uses them. Downstream from Christopher Creek Gorge's start is a split in the rocky top. Descend a faint trail; you may pass bolts on the walk down. Continue zigzaggin to top of routes or descend just upstream and rappel in on river right.
