Due to the presence of nesting raptors, the following rock climbing areas are temporarily closed: Slatanic Area, Rattlesnake Buttress, Margaret Thatcher Spire, The Stepping Stones, The Bulkhead, The Dunce Cap, and Commissioner’s Buttress.
1. Vegetation is not allowed to be used as an anchor.
2. Only neutral or rock colored bolt hangers are allowed.

Getting There
Park at Rattlesnake parking lot. Hike back up the road you came in on until just before a service road that goes off to the right (north).
Find your way through the wash and jungle of mesquite/desert willows/cat claws until you are in a gully which climbs the hillside just left of The Stadium.
Hike up until past the Stadium then back south up the hillside which heads over towards the top of The Stadium. Before you get to the top, look for a notch and narrow corridor which leads to the base of The Stadium.
You can also approach in any of two or three steep gullies and scramble directly to the base.
