Description

This wall is south facing, but remains shady due to the trees at the base. As with most of the climbing in Kausey, the area is secluded and is a great place to escape the crowds. This wall is generally good quality limestone with short routes pulling a couple of big roofs on small holds. There are a couple of easier routes on the vertical wall to the right of the big roofs as well.

Getting There

Park just before the gate for camp Kiesel and cross the bridge to the south side of the lake. Follow the trail east as it takes you up the hill side and skirts the camp Kiesel property. After about 10 minutes the trail drops down into the canyon and crosses to the other side of the small creek. From this point continue for a few more minutes up canyon and the wall will be on your left about 50 feet off the trail. The wall is kind of hard to see due to the trees at it's base.
