Keeler Needle's imposing twin, located on its South side. While not as steep and clean as Keeler, Day Needle is a stunning 2,000' buttress that catches your eye and begs to be climbed. All who wander up the North Fork of Lone Pine Creek stare and wonder what exists on this sweeping granite precipice. There are 4 known routes on this peak, with the easiest being IV 5.8 and harder lines up to V 5.12.
Access limited from May to October every year Details
