Description Suggest change

This is a very worthy little peak offering at least a couple alpine routes at this point. Check out Ian's guidebook for more details.

Getting There Suggest change

From the Hairpin, wander SE through the rock field. At the trees, look for cairns. Follow cairns and trails through the trees and talus fields to the drainage that comes down from Poster Peak.
Follow this drainage uphill (South). Keep looking left (East) for some cairns that will take you across the drainage and following treeline below the buttresses of Poster Peak. House Buttress is the first one you will come below. Eventually staying at treeline and following cairns, you will come around to where you can see Blue's Buttress. Ian's guidebook says to traverse high right below the buttresses. There isn't much of a trail there and you would be walking through loose talus. Stay lower at treeline and follow the cairns through the talus and trails.
