Description

The tallest summit on Sawtooth Ridge, Mt. Cruiser is an impressive pillar comprised of pillow lava. The rock here is fairly solid, but protection can be sparse.

Getting There

Standard approach is via Flapjack Lakes. From the lakes, head toward Gladys Divide and turn right to ascend 700 ft to Needle Pass. From the pass, ascend the ridge crest (north). Follow the ridge along its' west side for roughly 1/8 of a mile (up and over Beta) to a dirty, loose gully where you cross over to the east side of the ridge. From here, descend to the base of the summit pinnacle.
