Warning Access Issue: Do not climb near the visitor center DetailsDrop down

Description Suggest change

Park Rangers do not want climbers to climb near the visitors center. They support climbing in other areas around the lake.

Getting There Suggest change

Kaysinger Bluff is located on Truman Lake, above the east end of the dam. From Hwy 7 turn north onto SW 621 Road. Follow 621 to the only stop sign (a "T" junction) and turn right. Go across the dam and park in a small paved parking lot on the right (south). Kaysinger Bluff is the obvious rock north across the street, below and to the right of the spaceship-looking visitors center. Park in the lot and walk across the street to the climbs.
