Description

Located in northern Yosemite, south of Matterhorn Peak. This is another Sierra Peak Section mountaineers peaks. There are 35 mountaineers peaks, chosen for the quality of the climbing. There is a lot of class 3 climbing, on the Southeast Face, to reach the summit.

Getting There

Located in northern Yosemite NP. Take Rt 395 to Bridgeport, CA. and turn off to Twin Lakes. You can approach Whorl several ways, this is the shortest. From Twin Lakes, take the Horse Creek trail to Horse Creek Pass.
