Description

Climbed from all sides, in all seasons, Mt. Washington is a steep, worthy objective in the SE Olympics. With 2,615' of prominence and very good access, Mt. Washington is worth a trip or many.

Getting There

For Route 1, 2, 3 (SE Ridge):

Follow 101 to the town of Hoodsport, WA. Turn onto Lake Cushman Rd. and follow until a T intersection at Big Creek campground. Make a right and continue until the first left and signs for Mt. Ellinor. Take this and wind your way up the mountain, passing the lower Ellinor trail head and turnoff for the upper Elinor trail head, soon arriving at a small parking area before a washout.

Thanks for the correction - I changed it to 'soon'. Jul 15, 2015
I would change "eventually" to "very quickly" at the end of the how to get there paragraph. Jul 15, 2015
