Description
This area (also known as El Peñón del Coquí Rebelde) has a few moderate sport climbs on the east side of the boulder and a handful of short, but steep harder routes on the south side. A large boulder across from the main wall contains some of the steepest rock at Bayamón. Although the routes are short, they are rather powerful and will most likely stay dry in the rain on the south side.
Getting There
From the park entrance it is maybe a 15 minute walk. This area is farther along the cliff band aways past La Escalera and just a little further south, down the trail from Las Nueve (El Puente). As you continue down the trail with the main cliff band at your left, you'll pass through a tight corridor between the main wall and large boulder. This large boulder contains the routes at El Peñón del Coquí Rebelde.
